- Some of the innovative opinions come directly from free users or consumers. Mountain bike for example, which is a combination of normal bike, gears of traditional racing bike and brakes of motorcycle was adopted by teenagers first for their own use voluntarily. That is called as Creative Collaboration which takes place without any incentive. Some such innovative ideas do not come from big companies but rather from amateurs, who want to do things since they just love to do them. They are by the time more knowledgeable and more educated consumers who are open to innovations.
- There is no need for a formal organization nowadays to be organized for innovation. Because there are advantages of internet technologies combining people together. In astronomy for instance only a few astronomers can reach and communicate with too many others on line to conduct their jobs worldwide. Same things apply for some other projects.
- Radical innovation is a story of dealing with uncertainties as well. The more pay-off, the more uncertainty associated of what a new technology is and applied for.
On the other hand, the users define sometimes, how a new technology is to be used and sometimes this use pattern comes after a maturity period. Use of cellular phone technology is an example of that. First the teenagers have found how to use it in daily life after its invention.
- There is a competition between two organizational forms as Traditional Form and new internet age Open Source Form like Linux. No one would invest for a program to compete with MS Outlook today due to monopoly in the market for instance. Therefore Open Source Forms on volunteer basis are inevitable and seem to be the only and incredibly powerful way to follow in the future.
- Changing position of readers and viewers. They want to pronounce their voices through internet media tools in an interactive way, wherever possible. So readers and viewers become writers, publishers and speakers to be listened to in way. The broadcasting and newspaper media should take such developments into account, if they want to be successful in the future.
- Some recent innovations like Wikipedia are accumulative and collaborative, but it takes time to develop such type of applications and the final outcomes are accumulation of many collaborative efforts on volunteer basis. Once it starts accelerating, it grows very fast.
